Ghetto Slip n' Slide

Yes, I have been a huge neglecter of the blog latley. So, what better of a post than to put up pics of us rockin' our ghetto slip n' slide to make up for it (be prepared to laugh!)!?! I got some great 'action' shots of Masynn having an absolute blast...oh ok and of us big kids too. Gage even had to get in on the action, from his swing at least. He's pretty good at just hangin' out and lookin' cute. Guess his Mr. Cute nickname fits him good, for now at least.

It was a hot 4th of July weekend and since we were all too lazy and no one really wanted to spend the money, my brother-in-law Mike said...'heh, we could just make our own slip n' slide.' And we did just that! He grabbed the roll of visqueen from the garage, some tent stakes and a hammer then dragged over the hose and whallaaa, instant adult sized slip n' slide! He even added some Palmolive dish soap to make it even more slick. It streched almost the entire width of Kasi & Mike's backyard. It was fun being kids again if even for a little bit. I highly recommend the Ghetto Slip n' Slide, cheap and a great way to cool off from those hot summer days and you may even burn a few calories!
